Problems needing attention in vehicle rearview mirror

The average car has 3 rearview mirrors. The driver sees them almost no more than a hundred cars every day. There is a set rule for rearview mirror adjustment.
Everyone has different habits in driving. They usually use their senses to adjust the rear view mirror. In fact, there are certain rules for the adjustment of the rearview mirror. Few people pay attention to the reflectivity of the rearview mirror. The reflectivity is related to the reflective material inside the mirror. The larger the reflectivity, the clearer the image is reflected by the mirror. The reflector of automobile rearview mirror usually uses silver and aluminum materials, and their minimum reflectivity is usually 80%. High reflectivity can have side effects in some occasions. For example, the reflection of a vehicle's rear view mirror at night under the illumination of a vehicle's front headlights will cause the driver to feel dazzling and affect the driving safety. Therefore, the interior mirror is usually prismatic. Although the mirror is flat, the cross-section shape is prismatic. The reflectivity of the prism mirror is different from that of the inside reflector. The characteristics of the system meet the requirement of glare free. During the day, the reflectivity film of silver or aluminum with reflectivity of 80% is used, and the surface glass with reflectivity of only 4% is used at night. For this reason, the angle of the inner rearview mirror in the daytime position should be rotated at night to suit the driving requirements.
